Ayatana Coorg - Must be on your Bucket list




We came across this resort through their Instagram page and were blown away with the pictures. We booked it for two nights three days and here is my take on it.

1.This place needs to be on your bucket list. Yes!! It's spectacular!! The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of this place. It is way beyond that.

2.The waterfall is right in the property and can be seen from restaurants and also one can sit besides it on the rocks. The view of waterfall is breathtaking.







3.The property is very well maintained and the best part is their Staff. In the longest time I can recall that we have come across, this place has the best people who are working for them.

4.The property is five star and the staff goes beyond way to make you feel comfortable. Special thanks to the people who serve at restaurants and Mr. Rohit of front desk who was always checking for anything that we need.

5.The rooms are very neat and beautiful, so is the balcony..huge with some amazing views.

6.Food also has huge variety and tastes palatable. The restaurant is bang opposite waterfall and we enjoyed our food with view.

7.There is a beautiful indoor play area where games like fuse ball, blocks for toddlers, carrom board, chess, playing cards are there. Again.. It's very clean and beautiful.

8.The prices are bit on higher side still I would say it worth every penny. We found it to be value for money.. Be it property, food or hospitable staff.

9.They followed all the protocols of Covid.

All in all we loved every moment spent here and would love to go back.

Tips and Tricks:

1. Do check Cred App for amazing discounts and deals for this place.

2. Do carry a pair of sports shoes as the resort has complete Hilly terrain.

3. The road from Bengaluru to Coorg is picturesque..so do take some stops for capturing beautiful clicks.

4. The resort allows you to be in the property even before Check in time, so incase you are reaching before time, spent sometime near Waterfall.

Delicious food..Kesar da Dhaba, Amritsar

Kesar da dhaba is a must visit place in Amritsar for satisfying your taste buds with authentic Punjabi food. In fact it's an incomplete trip to Amritsar without going to Kesar da dhaba. I had heard about this place for ages and got an opportunity  to visit it for dinner with my parents. As you enter, you find it like any other dhaba in Punjab...with simple tables, menu on wall, noisy unless you indulge in food they serve.  We ordered aloo and mix paranthas , mutter paneer and dal makhani. To start with parantha, they were amazingly delicious and completed dipped in desi ghee. Mutter Paneer  and Dal makhani were served with oodles of ghee and made me fall in love with it. The Lalit, Goa

  We had stayed at The Lalit Goa for 4 N 5 D with family and here is experience- Good things- 1. The property is extremely beautiful and very well maintained.      It has a private beach which is very clean and beautifully maintained. 2.Buggy facility is available for anyone who cannot walk much and they also offer        complimentary property tour which is a must do activity. 3. A big shout out for the excellent staff.. Ms.Nisha at reception, she helped us with quick check in ( we had 6 hours flight delay and were very tired) , Mr. Pradeep( Sardarji) who was extremely polite and helpful and gave us a wonderful property tour. Mr. Rupesh was also very nice and helpful towards us. 4.The rooms are huge and so are the washrooms. There is a bathtub in every washroom.
