The Lalit, Goa

 We had stayed at The Lalit Goa for 4 N 5 D with family and here is experience-

Good things-

1. The property is extremely beautiful and very well maintained. 

    It has a private beach which is very clean and beautifully maintained.

2.Buggy facility is available for anyone who cannot walk much and they also offer        complimentary property tour which is a must do activity.

3. A big shout out for the excellent staff.. Ms.Nisha at reception, she helped us with quick check in ( we had 6 hours flight delay and were very tired) , Mr. Pradeep( Sardarji) who was extremely polite and helpful and gave us a wonderful property tour. Mr. Rupesh was also very nice and helpful towards us.

4.The rooms are huge and so are the washrooms. There is a bathtub in every washroom. Garden view room has balcony which opens to garden and has outside sitting.

 

5.Beach is beautiful and very clean as I mentioned above. The access is from property itself and the buggy can be used for pick and drop.

6.There are cabs and taxis easily available right outside the main gate of the hotel to go to Palolem beach or else where.

7. Amazing beautiful pools are there inside the property where one can spend some nice time.

8. Playroom for kids is also part of the property with pot painting, canvas painting , video games are available. However, everything is paid starting from 500Rs. with material included.

Not so good things-

1.We did not enjoy the food as much. We found there was a lot of areas of improvement in breakfast buffet with regards to taste as well as spread. The staff also looked a little demotivated specially the restaurant staff.

2.There was a mix of dishes of Veg and non veg at many places as in sometimes one can get confused with non veg food. A clear separate tables or counters can be of great help.

3.Ala carte food that we ordered was also something which we felt needed some improvement in quantity as well as taste. It took a very long time to get on the table.

Overall, the resort should be on top of your bucket list for the beauty it offers, the pools, the hospitality and for the beach only drawback is food which can still be managed.

We had a wonderful stay and would love to recommend it to our family and friends for sure.
